Brian St-Pierre
Music
A versatile artist, Brian is a songwriter, performer, musician, actor, musical director, stage director and music teacher. He has received several awards for his compositions such as four awards at Contact Ontarois 2020 for Vaches The Musical, a Trille d’Or for L’écho d’un peuple, a Trille d’Or for Réveille, a Trille d’Or for Zone.
With lyrics by Jean-Pierre Perreault, he composed the music for the song “Mon beau drapeau”, sung in Ontario’s French schools. With his wife Lucie and his children Benoît, Mélina and Jérémie, they participated in the Radio-Canada program Un air de famille. Afterwards, they launched their album and toured the province of Ontario.
Many artists have sung his compositions such as Véronic Dicaire, Michel Bénac from the group Swing, Roxane Potvin from Cirque du Soleil, Manon Séguin, Jean-Marc Lalonde, Jojo, Martine Lafontaine, Martin Massé, Luc Lalonde, Le choeur du Moulin and Les Chansonniers de Gloucester. Brian has performed with artists such as Bruno Pelletier (Notre-Dame-de-Paris), Ariane Gauthier (Roméo et Juliette) and Véronic Dicaire. He has opened for artists such as Marie-Chantal Toupin, Laurence Jalbert, France D’Amour, Luce Dufault, Audrey Demontigny, Damien Robitaille, Vilain Pingouin, Martin Deschamps and Roch Voisine.
Janie Pinard
Choreography
Janie Pinard is a Sudbury-based francophone artist who uses movement and physical play as her inspiration to create and perform. She is a founding member and resident choreographer of YES Theatre. Her comedy dance duo Les Bunheads has been performed in six countries, including America’s Got Talent, La France a un Incroyable Talent, Just For Laughs and the NY Clown Theatre Festival. She studied at the Francine Côté School of Clowning and Comedy in Montreal and the Dell’Arte International Physical Theatre School in California. Andrée-Ève Archambault
Scenography
Andrée-Ève Archambault is a set and costume designer in the Ottawa-Gatineau region where she works in French and English on both sides of the river.
A graduate in set design from the Option-Théâtre program at Collège Lionel-Groulx in 2013 and in 3D animation at La Cité Collégiale in 2022, she applies herself to the creation and design of the elements that make up the theatrical worlds she creates. As a visual artist, she likes to use multiple creative techniques such as sculpture, painting and sewing. You may have seen her work in Pierre et Marie… et le démon, by Michel Marc Bouchard at the Théâtre de l’île, where she designed the set and props under the direction of Kira Elhers. She is currently working on the set for the musical Vaches, The Musical directed by Dillon Orr with Créations In Vivo.
Chantal Labonté
Lighting
Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Chantal Labonté is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Theatre Department and the National Theatre School of Canada’s Production Program. Since graduating, she has worked in the fields of theatre, dance and opera, in both French and English. She is also the recipient of two RIDEAU awards for best design of the year in the Ottawa-Gatineau region with the plays On verra by the Théâtre du Trillium (2016) and Les passants, a co-production between the GCTC and La Catapulte (2017). Chantal is also a project manager at the Monastère. She participates in the international tours of the Compagnie Marie Chouinard.
Isabelle Bélisle
Costumes
A multidisciplinary artist, Isabelle Bélisle studied acting at the Cégep Lionel-Groulx’s theatre option and directing at the University of Ottawa. She has been working in theatre for over thirty years in Quebec and Ontario. She has directed more than thirty plays, including Dom Juan by Molière, adapted by Sylvain Sabatié (Facheux Théâtre), which was nominated for the Prix Rideau Awards 2022 for Stage Direction of the Year, and Peau d’ours, also nominated for Production of the Year. Interested in design, she has designed and produced over 87 costume designs, including Le Testament du couturier by Michel Ouellet (Masque Franco-Canadian production 2003), La Société de Métis by Normand Chaurette (Best Regional Production 2006 and Cercle de la Critique de la Capitale) two productions by Théâtre de la Catapulte, directed by Joël Beddows. As a performer, she has appeared in some forty productions, including À la recherche d’Elvis by Marcia Kash at the Théâtre de l’Île (Coup de cœur du public 2002 Le Droit and Cercle de la Critique de la Capitale Award - Best Regional Production 2002). As an author, her text Regarde-moi! was awarded the Bourse Roseq and the show she also directed toured across Canada (Théâtre la Catapulte). She received the Prix d’Excellence Théâtre Action 2002 and the Prix de la Fondation pour l’avancement du théâtre 2006-ATFC.
Ariane Carrière

Ariane Carrière has been working as a versatile screen and stage artist since graduating from the University of Ottawa’s Theatre Department in 2013. She began her career primarily in theatre as a Production Manager on shows such as: À tu et à moi (L’Atelier, 2013), Le rêve totalitaire de dieu l’amibe (Théâtre Tremplin, 2015) and Copeaux (Théâtre de Dehors, 2020). She also worked as a Stage Manager for Fausses rumeurs (Théâtre de l’Île, 2014) and Premières de classe (Théâtre la Barouette, 2016). In between these few theatre contracts, she has mostly worked behind the camera for numerous television series, web series and feature films. She can often be found in the studios of Slalom Productions (Motel Monstre VI, Toi et Moi III, Mehdi et Val I-V, La malédiction de Jonathan Plourde and most recently La vie compliquée de Léa Olivier) either in the production, directing assistance, costume or make-up departments. In addition, she has contributed to numerous FLIP TFO vignettes, including Flippons 2019, as well as for Carte Blanche Films and Productions Balestra. Currently, she is the production manager for the web series Histoires de comptoir, produced by Créations In Vivo. She is returning to the Slalom studios this summer for their new television series entitled Makinium, which will air on Radio-Canada.
Anne Parent
Stage Management
Originally from Eastern Ontario, Anne Parent completed her studies in May 2017 in the Theatre-Production program, stage management and technique, at Collège Lionel-Groulx in Sainte-Thérèse (QC). She left Montreal to go on tour with Cavalia’s production Odysseo, a production where she could combine her passion for horses and show business. Upon returning from tour, Anne worked in both Montreal and Ottawa. She has worked as a Stage Manager and Technical Director for youth productions such as Mokatek et l’étoile disparue (Ondinnok and Vox Théâtre), Toutou (Vox Théâtre), Chaos Coco (Théâtre Ondulé) Magie Lente and C’est ma sœur! (Des mots d’la dynamite). She continues to evolve in contemporary dance, musical comedy and circus productions, working on productions such as Copeaux (Théâtre de Dehor), Tlakentli (Ondinnok), Vaches, the Musical (Créations in vivo) and Plage au cirque (Cirque Éloize). Living from her passions is what Anne does best.
Benjamin Lévesque-Staes (il/iel)
Technical Director
Involved in the Franco-Ontarian theatre scene since 2015, Benjamin is a jack-of-all-trades. First at the Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins, then for several of its resident companies, they first made the leap to the production side as a Stage Manager with Andrée Poulin’s LA PLUS GROSSE POUTINE DU MONDE (Vox théâtre, Pierre Simpson), as well as the revival of several plays on tour with Théâtre la Catapulte as Technical Director. Passionate about music, performance art and cabaret, they joined the adventure of Vaches, The Musical in order to promote and celebrate Franco-Ontarian culture.
